I just fired up the grill for some nice sirloin tips. 23 degrees and dark. The calm before the storm......

Waiting patiently for the snow to start so I can go out sliding before it gets too deep for my car. Volvo lip installed and ready to plow!

I keep seeing snow in the PNW forecast...so far, none.

I do NOT want 24" though, ever.

                hang in there, guys!

I wish! The store was so packed last night you could barely get in. I would kill for a steak! Off to the bar for beer and burgers though....

                          Yeah you should adam.

I'd say we are almost at 20 inches here in annapolis, and it's still snowing.

We've got about 18" so far and the storm has not quit. Fortunately it started off nice and dry with the fluffy, dusty stuff that is really easy to dust off. Plenty of that left alone means the heavier stuff that came through mid-day will be very easy to get rid of come tomorrow. It will come away in nice blocks that will be very easy to manage. Some neighbors have not been so smart... as if there was somewhere they had to be at all today.

Nope, I'll wait it out. It will take some effort tomorrow, but it will only take one pass instead of four or five like I've seen some neighbors clamoring to do. I've got clear paths to a tarp I laid over a section of grass so I can peel it back and let the dogs have a nice dry patch to do their business. 'Not my first time through this stuff... ;)
