The "right" thing is subjective and requires moral definition. Responsibility for one's own actions is very rarely self-inflicted. This is not something that is new by any means. It has always been rare for people to be responsible out of personal desire to be so.

Also, if there is anything I hate, it is people who express their own opinion and don't give a moment's thought to the opinions of others. Generally it is because of insecurity, but it drives me crazy.

I don't doubt it, I know there are people that would be capable and willing to do such a thing. However, to say that just because there is a chance of it happening, that it DID happen, is totally stupid and false.

I have a degree in civil engineering and after reading and viewing documentaries regarding the structural collapse of the WTC, there is overwhelming evidence that it was a controlled demolition. Architects and Engineers for the truth, proved that fact by finding vertical structural girders in the basement sheared at 45 deg angles, just like in a controlled demo. And the fact that liquid thermite (used to "slice" metal) was found pooling at the bottom of the rubble is pretty conclusive.

Answer one question for me if you are so sure of yourself...why did WTC #7 collapse? It was not hit by a plane, was not compromised by debris, and video footage clearly shows likeness to a controlled demolition. The fact that WTC 7 housed files for the IRS, makes it pretty shady. 3 buildings went down that day, i bet 95% of the public only knew about the two towers, not the third, going down.

Am I retarded or do you just refuse to deny the fact that your government killed its own people to justify making money?

There was a thread earlier this year about 9/11 conspiracies. Search for it.

Maybe I am insecure. Im insecure to the fact that if you insult me for having different beleifs than you, I cant smack you. Its xmas and I dont feel like being insulted today. Im hopeful that I didnt insult anyone today, but for the most part you guys seem like decent people.

Then why do I read the OT? Because its very entertaining.

I didn't insult you at all. Believe me, I'm a complete asshole and you would know if I had.

I said that people who act the way you do are generally insecure and the particular trait you expressed annoys me. That's not an insult. You are very sensitive. Your temper seems to have a hair trigger. That's something that will not serve you well in life.

Well, I can't possibly be completely stupid if I built an S50 out of a few M50s and some S50 internal bits.

My posts do speak for themselves.

There is no overwhelming evidence to prove anything, just lots of conspiracies based on bigotry and racism that dates back hundreds of years, which suck in the gullible who will believe anything that makes the world make sense when it doesn't necessarily have to.

every piece of "evidence" is sheer speculation and hyperbole by a crowd who doesn't have a clue about demolition, building construction or even have a care for the people who actually died in the event.

I wonder if you keep a copy of the "Protocols" by your side as evidence of a big conspiracy to take over the world.

Then please tell me what projects in what cities you have worked on and what you have done on them!!!!

SO I can Avoid at all costs that fucking Bridge, Dam, Viaduct, building or what ever you have had a hand in, that way I can program routes around them, into all of my families navigation boxes.

Civil engineering has nothing at all to do with building/bridge construction or demolition. Civil engineering has to do with paving and grading (roads, parking lots, site prep, etc) drainage, and similar issues. He may as well have a degree in underwater basketweaving when trying to "analyze" the information from the WTC.

I work with civil/structural engineers all day. The structural guys will tell you that everything you were taught in school (except maybe some of the proofs/maths) is useless. Forget it and start over in the real world while you try to build up some experience.. mostly it's dealing with building and safety code and trying to fit inside a budget.

Too bad in some regards this is what it has all come down too. The freedom to do what ever is mostly gone as you have to fit into x-y-z and do it for a walmart price. Unless you get to work on some thing special where there is some room to play and make something unique and refreshing.

You have no idea how much ordinary shit I have built, where a couple a hundred K more (in a 10mill + project) would have made something special and draw people to it.

A-FUCKING-MEN, bro! I worked for 4 years in a Commercial Construction Company based in Seattle. Been doing work for 31 years here. I figured there was a name to up hold, something to be proud of based on the buildings they had worked on/remodelled/help build. When I started they I made sure to do things all right and make it look gooood. When framing I made sure it was easy as all hell, even if it took me an extra 2 days total on a 4 week framing schedule, for the dry wallers to come in and have to do barely anything. Hanging doors I made sure those fuckers closed and had an even reveal all around. Know what I got told by the boss?

"Why are you taking so long? Listen, we do D grade work here and if you'd just hurry up and make it look like B-C grade, you'll be able to stick around here for awhile..."

Everything after that was just moving me towards my next job. I can't stand not being able to take pride in my work. I ended up leaving that field but not after 4 years or so of taking extra time on the job and not recording hours so that way it turned out nice enough for me not to cringe when I thought back on what I'd done that day. And there was so much potential in so many of these old buildings. A coat of paint doesn't fix broken...
