what does that have to do with anything? Oregon is a heavily Liberal state.

and Leland is my middle name, named after my great great x about 5 or 6... uncle who came over on the Mayflower.

It even says in that article they are still debating calling it that but can't until they've figured out exactly how their going to do it. What point about it is not? Their helping make it easier for people to do something that's illegal. I say give them the phones and let the border patrol use them to track the people coming across.

Maybe some you guys should register to Hitler's Jugend as you have the same discourse. Replace "Mexicans" by "Jews".

Don't you EVER fucking call me a Nazi you uncouth motherfucker.

How about lets trade. I'll take the US as the border to the south of me, and you can have Mexico. In 15 years we can have this debate again. Until then I think you have no relevant interest in the context of this issue.

I am not saying that I support open borders, but open borders are one of the things that made this country so great. All you guys that regularly talk about the American dream and the founding fathers, etc. should consider this.

BTW if businesses hiring illegal immigrants din't make a better profit than hiring legit workers, they wouldn't it. So direc you angst against these companies. And speaking of immigrant workers, don't forget the 100,000s of them that you talk to on a daily basis without knowing. When you call a US company for technical support, the call may have been answered in India, Taiwan or China. All the parts you buy are made in a third world country. Your shoes, pants etc. I would be more wary of that problem than those gardeners or burger flippers with a tan skin... Because they are jobs that have fled the country...

But hey, if Mexicans are an easy target, have your fun. But you didn't convince me yet of their danger.
So people illegally entering the country, using services that legal citizens pay for and then not paying taxes isn't hurting anyone?

So much going on here than your simple post. While I don't know all the answers fleeing jobs, outsourcing, and illegal immigration are much more complex than your post makes it out to be.

oh yeah, sales tax in BC, Canada is going from 5% to 13%, if you want to know how bad it can get. They don't call it a sales tax of course, but something else to make it appeal to the masses of suckers. oh well that just means more people coming down from Canada and shopping in my community where taxes are "only" 8.25%.

and yes, I know if effects millions of people and etc. But what I meant tho is that going to effect you personally? And talking about taxes its not like we are already paying a shit load. Tax in Los Angeles is 9.25% on every dollar spent. How much worse could it already get. Luckily your not in California to worry about it.

And, the part I don't think helps either, is that a large percentage of Illegal Aliens whom find a loophole by stealing my deceased Grandmother's SSN to pick grapes in Modesto then take 85% of the money they make and Mexi-Union it to someone in Guadalajara so the funds that taxes are not paid on, and my family now has to pay (even though we never met the person whom stole the ID) and then the benefit of it being spent does not even get accrued to the US' credit.

So not only are paying jobs leaving the country, but now with this type of issue, our dollars are leaving the communities they should be spent in.

You do realize that 45% of this country already has no federal income tax liability, correct? In other words, the bottom 45% of wage earners get all the money back they paid in over the year, or get more money back in a refund then they paid all year.
