I am serious. It would get attention on the internet.

Hey dude. If you got into my Stage 3 Weight Reduction E30 you'd be singing a different tune. It's got hollow M42 cams, undercoat delete, all aircraft fasteners, and a 2150 lb curb weight.

I think with some Ti-nitrided wheel fasteners to replace the stock chromies, you could look good and reduce weight on the perimeter of the those XXR002s.

^ sounds good. You might want some custom halfshafts to handle all that power.

^^^ Also needs KYB performance gas shocks to handle those cut m3 springs.

I think some Rancho Ford Ranger shocks would have a better damping curve for cut M3 springs. Are we talking E30 or E36 M3 springs.

E36 M3 springs. You are correct as the ranger shocks are undoubtedly superior for the high rates that cut M3 springs have.

                              For me:

                              start with 87 M3.

                              Custom build V12 producing 1200-1500HP
                              6-speed racing trans
Install braking system from an F1 car
preform extensive weight reduction, everything not needed must go.
                              Full carbon fiber body panels
                              Full titanium structural body members,
install best racing suspension setup that money can buy.
Have BBS make me titanium versions of a wheel set of my choosing
                              titanium roll cage.
carbon fiber dash w/ Motec ADL
Metallic silver paint, hood left unpainted, but with glaze to protect carbon fiber from sun damage.
I imagine the most amount of useful power one could produce would be in the 550-600bhp range.

I would widen the flares, install a standard bbk front and rear with bias controls in the cockpit.

Motor would probably be a S50US with a twin scroll GT35R and custom tuning set up to produce max power with traction in each gear.

Suspension would probably be something custom, I really don't know enough to know what would be best so I'd defer to some guru.

Probably wouldn't do all that to an M3 either, they're too rare to be ruined by the race track.

Build time machine... go back 4months. Buy Sauber BMW from BMW. Tell everyone there that they are no longer racing F1. Their new goal is to build you the most insane car ever with no restrictions on anything. One catch though... has to look like an e30 when complete.
