High school:
Played football: Linebacker
Track: 260lbs made it to regional finals for open 100m 10.9s and 4x100 team (I anchored) made it to state prelims split of 10.58...faster because I could get my ass going in the 4x100. Also threw shot and disc
College
Turned down full ride to Iowa (dumb shit right there), had several other offers such as Harvard, Army, Navy, Texas Tech, ect.
Walked on to Ohio State made practice squad, saw 1 guy break a disc in his back and one severe spinal cord and I said goodbye to my love of football
Started bodybuilding and found it unhealthy (dumb kid syndrome) so joined the OSU cycling team and was the guy all them skinny asses drafted off of in practice...never raced though.
Now I just bike, run, and workout because it's been hard keeping the weight off that seemed so hard to put on.

Damn that's nuts. I still kick myself for barely missing the criteria for Upenn and Cornell. My SAT was shitty, but I had talked my way into getting official visits and what not. Fuck the SATs.
Cycling, football (soccer) and futsal. I tore my MCL in April so I've been out of action all season. So rough. My squad just took out the premiership last weekend in reserve grade and firsts missed out on Champions of Champions by 1 point. I've been rolling over between 30-50km on my bike pretty regularly to keep my knee strong. Can't wait til I can play again! p until last September I was riding 100km and just stopped for no reason :(
So I finally had time to get an MRI yesterday cause I deferred uni. Turns out I completely annihilated my knee. As well as tearing my MCL I ruptured my ACL, destroyed my horizontal cleavage meniscus and have stress fractures all through my tibia and femur :( Doctor reckons I'll be out for 9 months. The worst.
I think this KIND of counts as motorsports is technically a sport. R3VLimited races in a local PNW class called Pro3.. Think of it as SpecE30 with unlimited suspension and a few additional engine mods.
I was the geek in HS and never did anything related to sports, so this is my only calling in that arena.
I snowboard, row, and get out on my bike as much as I can. Mainly i weight train to keep in the best shape possible and avoid injuries. I used to be on a competitive water polo team, but after breaking my wrist snowboarding i fell too far behind and it wasn't worth the travel expenses :(
im starting to get back into track and train again. my brother is going to the 11th grade this year and has been in the top 15 in the country in the 100m and 200m since he was a freshmen. so he definately has the potential. hes the fastest person in his grade and lower. only people faster are all mostly seniors.
just checked hes 13th in the country in the 200m with a 20.89 (which he eased up 50m before the finish. it was the prelims)
and he's tied for 6th in the 100m at 10.37. the 200m is his best event
