The PT Cruiser was the brainchild of.. focus groups. The goal was to make a car that breath the american spirit. It was supposed to be a car with strong identity. A car that would be easily identified, in a sea of blend vehicules. Yup. That's what people wanted and designed. Chrysler ended up with another "Homer mobile".

A coworker got one as a loaner when his car was in the shop. He tried to sneak park it at work to hide it but we found out, that thing was the biggest pile of shit I have ever been in that wasn't falling apart from age.

It might have been the worst car I've ever driven. There is NOTHING good to say about it.
We should have let Chrysler fail.
i drove my neighbors to Detroit with a bunch of band stuff in the back, its an appliance, not a car.

rented one in chicago. it was the 2.4l turbo.

i thought 2.4 liters of turbo would give it some go power.

    i was wrong.

it is indeed quite a horrible car.
