Theres lots of kids that get nice things cause their parents have money. Theres also a lot of kids that drive Accords and their parents have money. I just don't like this douche at school with a CLK63, not really jealous but I don't like him even though I don't know the guy.

If you have to get them a new car, make it a grad gift, not a 16 gift.

The last thing any 16 year old should get.

The E30 was my first car and I paid cash for it. My kid(s) will do the same when(if) I have kids. a stock M20 is not exactly fast, but still enough to get into trouble with. It's still stock to this day other than my Scorpion exhaust, and I like it that way. The E36 on the other hand....;)

george, i must agree with you. there is a huge difference between being handed something without any effort, than working hard for something, and giving yourself a reward.

Giving a 16yr old a camaro is like giving a obese chick more food, neither will yield a positive result.

Do some of you not think that he could just as easily die in a Kia or some other tin can that can reach 70MPH?

He's more likely get over his head in the Camaro. Remember the kid last year who lost it in the M5 his parents apparently gave him? I'm sure he thought he was a good driver, and his parents probably thought he was a responsible kid.
