Hey just seeing if anyone else picked this up? It's pretty cool battles, the sound is the best feature, graphics are nice as well. Let me know what you guys think of the game I'd like to hear it. I dont know which platforms got it besides Xbox and PC so if you have something else join in doesn't matter.

It's on PS3 as well. I tried downloading the demo to check it out just a few days before it launched but it seems they took it offline.

I'd like to know how it compares to MW2.

It doesn't really compare to MW2 at all. The gameplay is completely different. BFBC2 is more tactical. The maps are much larger, more dynamic imo.

I bought it yesterday. I plowed through the singleplayer, and now I´m enjoying the multiplayer. I´m glad I skipped mw2, because I find this more fun.

Anyone know anything about the problems with online store? I got a preorder code that unlocks the aks74u, but the store is down. Would have been better if it worked like in mass effect 2.

That's kind of what I was hoping. I was addicted to SOCOM I and II back in the day and was hoping maybe it was more related to that than MW2. I know SOCOM 4 is coming out at some point, so I wonder how that series ultimately shaped up.

I got this yesterday, and honestly it's way addicting. Multiplayer matches have a knack for turning epic with all the vehicles thrown in. I find playing medic very rewarding.

I got it on the PS3 btw...

yes i do.

and i think it sucks. i've been playing cod hardcore, since the original call of duty and im used to killing people with a single headshot 99.999999% of the time. or with 2 - 3 body shots to the chest area.

i think bc2 really sucks because you can empty an ENTIRE FUCKING MAGAZINE into someone, RELOAD, and EMPTY ANOTHER ENTIRE FUCKING MAGAZINE into them before you kill them.

its ridiculous. whowever on the dev team that thought withstanding 30-60 rounds and living is crazy. and its not that bc2 lacks this capability, because in the single player you can drop bad guys quite nicely. but in multiplayer they dialed down the damage on bullets to 6mm airsoft bbs.

It's definitely more tactical and team based than mw2. I like it a lot better.

it definitely is more team based. because it requires an entire team to take down 1 person in a short-er period of time.

I downloaded it on PC, got bored of it after getting half way through the 2nd mission in the ice or whatever. Also happened to get starcraft 2 beta at the same time so that also threw me off bc2. Haven't really bothered to go back and play it after that. But I'll be sure to give it another go when I get bored :)
