Strep throat has absolutely nothing to do with seasonal allergies.

I tried using these things, but never got the technique down. I ran across that toothpaste guy on youtube and abandoned the idea.

              I'm was actually the opposite.
Spring was a disaster for me as a kid. Rash shit all over my legs/arms, red eyes, sneezing till my nose fell off...
Highschool and after it has gotten better though.
I'll mention that I'm also allergic to grass.. Maybe I shouldn't of played soccer for 14 years of my life, lol.

I am allergic to grass. It was nice when I played rugby in high school. If we were on fresh cut grass, and I'd get my face smeared in the ground or something (happens more than you think) then I would be miserable.

Claritin used to work for me but not anymore.

I lol when I first read it but then I abruptly stopped when I realized why I am here. Last year, out of fkng NO WHERE my eyes went to absolute shit! I had no idea WTF was going on. Then sneezing began and a weird itch in my ear. I then figured to my astonishment that I was having an allergy attack. I had no idea one could just develop that shit and as of a week ago I see I have because HERE WE FKNG GO AGAIN!!!! This shit is truly a bitch! It's like being sick and I never get sick so it's even more fkd up. I'll stop the rant here!

I'm getting that Neti Pot stuff tomorrow morning. I'm not really looking to get into meds for this shit.

Im very allergic to dust, pollen, certain grasses and dander. I used to get immunization shots and it just got expensive. Then I found singulair...This miracle of a drug gets to the mast cells before they turn into or release the histamines. Its an asthma medicine but my allergist says it works for allergies and its a damn miracle drug. I dont even have asthma. You can also take it with a zyrtec or claritin since they work differently. Its worth a shot if all else fails

WTF, I had never heard of being allergic to grass and that's why I genuinely laughed but I just thought about something. The first day it hit me again was when I mowed the lawn at my parents new place. But there has also been a assload of this shit from these trees on the ground and street in their neighborhood. They're like 2 inch long little dangling things from the tree. I wonder if those things are in on it as well.

There's an easier sinus rinse kit other than the NetiPot. It's actually made by the same company, it's a little squirt bottle instead of the "pot." It's much easier to use.

For those whose nasal membranes can tolerate it, a daily nasal medication usually works the best. I take 10mg of zyrtec at night and 20mg in the morning. That usually does the trick.

FYI, allergy season usually starts at the end of February. Many people mistake allergies for a common cold as the symptoms are usually similar.

It's not the actual grass; it's the pollen. When you mow and stir it all up, it becomes airborne and you inhale in. Tree pollen is usually worse for most people too. Both kill me... figuratively.

My pollen allergies were so bad when I was younger that I actually got allergy injections for 5 years. I had too many systemic reactions to them and stopped.
