Doesn't change my opinion. Majority rules. I'm still buying it from the good reviews I've read

While I'm sure that his products are decent enough it has little to say about his character or over all attitude.

Yeah, I'm getting an EJ's plate. It depends on your driving habits really.

            Exactly.

For idiot drivers "peerless"' off-road plate is what you should get.

For drivers that don't suffer from a case of stupid, EJ's are well worth the price for what you get.

Flaw in EJ's Plate is the cuts. It would be stronger if it was a solid peice. Ive bent his skid plan is 3 areas because of the cuts.

hmmm. How hard did you hit it? Speedbumps? or potholes?

Last I checked a skid plate wasn't a "hit whatever the fuck I want" plate. It's a protective measure for the low slung oil pans. Regardless, EJ's plates are not on trial, nor should they be given that 99.1% of the people with EJ's product are MORE than happy and have saved at least the price of 1-3 oil pans because of it.

                    I agree.

also the people that are having these peroblems are the ones that actually have SLAMMED CARS!

If you're lowerd with H&R race/sports i dont see this a big deal because there is still a good clearense between the oilpan and ground level.

my car is Low, but not stupidly low. my ride height is perfect, also my oilpan looks like it was replaced at some point bu there isn't dents or cracks anywhere on it with out the skidplate, just some scuffs, i bet it's from the idiot p.o's hit a curb or somthing.

i got the skidplate just incase i hit a pothole and i am not paying attention it would save my ass.

^I agree, (with CK) I could care less about the price of an oil pan I just plain dont ever want to have to replace another one. I will give my review of mine in a few weeks when I can put some real mileage on it.

Honestly it comes down to driving style, I went through 3 pans and then I was on my last pan for well over a year before I sold the car. The roads didn't change, I changed my driving style.

Can you "un-weld" the one from peerless and move it to another car if (god forbid) you get in a accident, or just want to swap shells? Seems like a reasonable question.

I'll go EJnight. I've driven my car low ( as low as, sometimes lower) than in my sig a while now, and its only suffered a scratch. CA roads are not good, either.
