I think once all this technology that is being hyped up starts to come out, humans will be virtually immortal as one technology lets you live until the next one comes out allowing you to live even longer, and so on and so on.

There was a guy who spoke at one of the T.E.D. conferences who spoke more in depth on this theory. It was a pretty amazing presentation, I wish I could remember his name. He looked absolutely insane but his theories made sense.
