definately a hard thing to do, even knowing its for the best. and it doesnt ever get easier. i dread the day that i have to deal with it with my current dog.

not gonna lie, i'm crying right now. i tend to take animal death a lot worse than people. i can hear about people dying all day, but if i didnt know them it doesnt phase me (unless the story is really, really heartbreaking).

hearing about animals dying tears me up inside every time. i cry almost everytime i see roadkill, especially if it's a dog or cat.

my dog had cancer when i was in junior high. he got put down before i even knew he was sick, and it still tears me up inside.

my current dog disappeared about two weeks ago. i am still hopeful but it is slowly fading.

i feel your pain bro, and i am truly sorry for your loss.

I have a real bad weak spot for animals. Humans? Fuck em. But animals dont fuck with anyone. And what they DO do its due to instinct or because they were taught by humans. They kill or hurt for instinct, we kill and hurt for fun. Plus they are loyal as fuck.
