her insc, out fit is gonna come after you for the damages to HER car, they are not gonna give you 50 bucks for a new tail light.

You are gonna end up paying for all the damage on this one. When it comes to shit like this, its a a who calls in 1st type of thing. if they hit you ALWAYS GET THEIR INSURANCE INFO. OR call the cops, TAKE YOUR OWN PICS and not just of the damage of the entire seen to show the position of all car and all the other pertinent info.

Let this be a lesson to you to always cover your own ass 1st and not worry about the tail light on the car that can be fixed easily by your self for next to nothing. Just because someone else is at fault, dose NOT MEAN they will do the right thing and own up to it. People in general are going to look out for themselves and do what is necessary to keep their own ass outta hot water and get the other guy to pay for shit.

just spoke to the insu agent, they want my information, story, documentation to "determine who is at fault" however she did say that typically in situations like this, a head on/rear to rear corner collision usually results in both parties being partly responsible. (der affe called it.)

waiting for her to fax over the paperwork an shit. i'm kinda nervous, damn.

Its not going to stop her company from coming at you. What they do is fix the damage and then pursue damages and take it to arbitration. However that is judged is how the layout is.

Now most people dont know this unless they see part of their deductible refunded (like in my cases where I was hit) but I have no clue how it works for the uninsured because I am not a deadbeat piece of shit.
            Im now E30less.

That is at least an $800 job on the Jeep for the bumper cover, paint, and tail light assembly. Maybe a little less if the bumper cover can be purchased with matching paint. Got any body shop friends?

I was gonna say, that is 1200-1500 $ of damage to the Jeep in this state. Idiot.

In Oregon, you lose your license for a year if you are caught with no insurance. Consider yourself lucky if you only get a fine.

And I must say, this thread really points out all the idiots on R3v.

Call the ins. company back, tell them the damadge to your car was minimal and you do not want to file a claim due to the age of your vehicle. This is a no fault situation (you are both at fault basicly). Tell the ins. company she backed into you while you were backing out. You saw her, and honked your horn, and braced for impact, since there is no police report and the ins company cannot prove what happened, they will accept the responsability to repair her car. The longer you wait the more you seem at fault.
You will accept the fact that you screwed up royally by driving without insurance and fix your car, and get insurance asap.
In GA, they suspend your license for crap like this.
                    Grow up.

get liability insurance for like $30 MAX per month on your car. Do it now, they aren't going to know that you weren't insured at the time of the accident. If she wants to get shady then you can play that game too.

                      and second:

IN all seriousness though, good luck in this situation, just be happy she didnt jet out and leave you sitting there with a fucked taillight. I got in an accident 2 months ago where a guy cut my off on my motorbike and I went over the handlebars and came within a few inches of smacking my face on his bumper. The fucker took off. I was left in the middle of a busy street bleeding down my legs and arms. People just stopped and looked in awe as the guy just kept on going. One guy tried to chase him down but he lost him. I had just recovered from a full blown ankle injury and I messed it up again. So after a trip to the emergency room and an $1100 bill, I reported it to my insurance company. And after about 2 weeks of calls and information being faxed and emailed, I WAS FOUND TO BE AT FAULT. SEE, the situation could be much worse. I was left with a crazy ER bill and a totaled FINANCED bike that I had to come up with the balance on. Lesson learned here: DONT USE PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE. lol

New Hampshire is the only state that does not require you to have insurance, but even then you'd be a complete dumbass not to have it. Best of luck with your situation.

This is most likely going to be the case. That is what insurance companies do. One of the few perks of insurance is having someone take care of all the legal crap and ball-kicking when the time comes; unfortunately, you don't have that option while she does.

I was in a similar situation years ago, and I can tell you that ins. companies DO NOT CARE who was at fault or any of the trivial legalities......they want compensation for damages, and they will go after you to get it no matter what. If it comes to the point where they come after you, either pay up or get a lawyer, because they can do everything from garnish wages to having the DMV suspend your license (at least in California, ask me how I know... )
