Just reading a couple of the posts and i like to add a couple things... Im a local agent here in SOCAL and as long as you both exchanged info and you didn't admit to anything at the time of the accident then you'll be fine.. and second if the damage is more the $750 then that's when it gets reported to the DMV and the insurance company. unless otherwise the other party decided to pay outta pocket. and third someone commented on goin to get insurance after the fact this has happened.. Your still screwed you cant get coverage after the incident. its pointless it wont cover it. but all in all good luck with everything.
