2nd to 3rd even tho I cant cherp that gear its still a fast gearing, 3rd is the all time best powerband gear for me , When down shifting every gear is great but ppl trip out when i down shift to 1st :D

I rarely ever do it, dont get you panties in a twist :D Any really why would it be so bad? As long as you rev match it should be fine. Its not like im going 1st at 30mph haha , more like 15mph

edit: i didnt see your post or it wasnt there yet Axxe. Yes, I've autocrossed for years in several BMWs and a few other cars and only very few times have we had a course that requires downshifting to 1st, not to say it couldn't be done for lots of other turns. there are some times i can imagine needing to be in 1st to go around a very tight corner, but it would be at almost a complete stop, which obviously isn't what im talking about when im referring to downshifting into 1st while driving.

I've never downshifted to first for power in my BMW.

Also I like the 1st to 3rd shift. Drops panties everytime.
