I have to say while this is a pretty cool phone so far, I am very disappointed with the battery life. You definitely need to keep a battery charger handy. I watched the world cup on the Sprint TV ESPN and it killed my battery quick. To save battery life, do yourself a favor and keep the wireless off, as well as the bluetooth until you need it. Also another thing that pissed me off is when you record video, the video looks good but the audio portion of the recording is terrible! I was recording a buddy's band about 40-50ft from the stage and when I checked out the video on my PC speakers the audio sounded like it was recorded through a kazoo.
So, anyone pickup an HTC EVO 4G yet?

a. so you are bitching about battery life when you are watching TV over 4g with the radio on? That shit will kill any phone.
b. tiny phone mics dont handle blown out audio (which is most bands in a bar). Think about it for a second, you are recording video with a mic that is on the bottom of the phone.
I havent had any troubles getting a day out of it but, like said, I dont run with sprintTV running, bluetooth or wifi on all of the time or use it much more than my old phone (still in honeymoon mode so I mess with it more often than normal).
I did watch a couple of top gears on it during a 2 hour flight and still had power at the bar that night (although I did have it in airplane mode on the plane and screen at half brightness).
Also, for those asking about the "premium data fee." I guess it not only unlocks unlimited on the 4g networks but supposedly lifts the 5gb cap on the 3g network as well.Im now E30less.

I am actually quite happy with the battery life on my evo. You should all root the phone and run the "overclock widget". I have it set to stay at 1ghz with the screen on, but it goes down to 245mhz when the screen is of. It definitely helps with battery life. Also, like ryan stewart said, you need to know how to use the phone properly.
