Well, maybe she's just plainly addicted to smoking unless you really have a gut feeling there are other things? If it's just an addiction, it sounds more like she just needs help. Then again, I'm not you so I have no idea and it could be a different ball game.

If she wants to smoke, let her smoke. It's you that have a problem with it, and clearly she has to go behind your back to be herself. You should talk about it, and figure out what to do. If she doesn't want to quit smoking, and you can't be with her for that reason, then you should leave. If you get angry about it, of course she's going to do it behind your back. It's her life, she has the right to do whatever she wants.
