I somehow ran across this speculative piece of crap article a day or two ago.

Possible shitty cement job sealing casing to the formation at the bottom, once sealed off at the top, could cause oil and cause oil and gas to come up between the well bore and the steel casing. This is why they have to use a bottom kill, to make sure the well is dead for 100% sure.

To be honest, I have not read that anywhere, I was just making stuff up, but I'll go read it now.
EDIT: I can't find anything.Leave a comment:

i hate BP, so i'm gonna boycott the gas station down the street owned by Bill, because he purchased a franchise off of them or whatever, aside from the fact that he is just paying for the shiny two letters and the colors, but whatever...Leave a comment:

That's cool - I'll listen to what you might have to say.
Nado is just being his annoying usual self. Just don't say anything negative about mega-squirt. He's eat your head.Leave a comment:

No hes right on, I make my living as a sub contractor to the oil industry and specifically in the transport and down stream oil and gas production. Also with in the next year or prolly going back to school to finish my Petroleum engineering degree, and switch over to up stream side of things. I think I have just a little insight into this topic.
I with ya, but no one ever listens to me any wayLast edited by mrsleeve; 07-15-2010, 02:40 PM.Leave a comment:
