    DTM enthusiats visit this thread

I'm about 7% sure I could find an answer here.
I'm thinking about doing a DTM vinyl wrap on my car. Of course, Warsteiner looks great, but since I'm diamantschwarz, I'm not going to wrap to white.
So... I'm thinking either Diebels Alt with that awesome gold....

... or there was a black DTM e30 racing back in the day but I have no idea who sponsored it, I just can't catch the info on the old race vids. Any help would be appreciated.
I'll update the works if anyone's interested. I own a vinyl business so this is nothing hard or expensive for me.

your car has to be slammed with some serious wheels, roll cage, race seats, etc..etc.. to pull off that look, otherwise it will look retarded stock with DTM graphics

Working on that, only thing that's not going to happen is the M3 fenders, but I think it can be pulled off without those.
I'm not trying to make a replica, just have some fun with an 80's car. Most people won't even know what the fuck is going on.

expect to spend a lot of money to make this happen.

i would not try to get a full wrap. i would try to do single cut graphics (like the JSP above), it will be much cheaper. and more shops can do cut graphics. full printed wraps require a shit ton of precision and laying down that much vinyl down cleanly is hard unless you're in a super clean environment. (i.e. paintbooth.)

go talk to your local sign shops to check the viability of this project before you go crazy dreaming up fanciful ideas.

Kershaw: totally agree, I have all equipment to do that, but not to do a full (printed) wrap. That would be like a thousand bucks here.
I'm in the business so I know exactly what can/can't be done and I have the best prices.

Though I don't know what it would look like without the M3 kit, I don't think it would look like crap, just not "correct".
