so you (kershaw) support keeping people locked up who will never see freedom again? Of course my method is simple. that is how it should be, simple and cheap. Line up the lifers, shoot, dig mass grave, dump in, burn and bury. repeat. To save money in the prison system, this is the way to go, aswell as not imprisoning drug users.

You must be on drugs right now. :p

... actually I almost sorta agree with you. Very unrealistic and cold hearted, but logical.

The "accident" happened down the street from me as I live about 200 feet from the intersection (San Marin Drive and San Carlos Way) and I actually heard the crash and the screaming and hollering afterward.

I walked down to the corner and the NPD, NFD, and the Paramedics had it blocked off and flew in a helicopter to evac the girl, so I knew something really bad happened.

I also know a few people that went to HS with Schaefer and they said he was a real prick, and everyone predicted that he would get some prison justice as he was a convicted spousal abuser and then killed a little girl, so it was no surprise he got gutted in the yard at the Q
And he's only about 5'4", so he's not a big guy.

Even before this happened, San Marin Drive always had a lot of cops sitting at the 4-way intersections waiting to pull someone over for a rolling stop.

On any given night, you can hear them blip their siren as they're pulling someone over for not coming to a complete stop.

They should find a cheaper yet humane way.

While i agree with you about thr drug users, I dont think shooting people is very progressive. its 2010 we are beyond that, unfortunately not enough. I think lethal injection should just be cheaper .

I wonder which part of the entire "death by lethal injection" is so expensive as to be "3x more expensive than life in prison"? I mean, the formula used in the injection is mostly potassium, since it stops muscle contractions, and when introduced directly into the bloodstream at such concentrated amounts, it only takes a matter of moments to reach the heart since the convict receiving the injection's heart rate will be so elevated as to help move the formula quickly.

            Seems cheap enough.

Its the process, more guards per inmates ratio on death row. Higher security, the bureaucracy etc etc.

It would be simple to take all the inmates on a field trip via airplane, fly over the Bermuda triangle, and never hear from them again. Who then would be to blame? The aliens?

Costs for capital crimes are increased significantly because of court costs; the burden of proof is much higher (depending on the state) compared to a non capital crime. Plus, all the money must be paid up front (trial) vs costs spread out over however long the person lasts in prison.

Murder someone in China and they shoot you in the back of the head and ship the bill for the bullet to your family.

We are a Country that allows free speech(nothing wrong with that) Not that long ago we were lighting them up like Christmas trees. Before that hanging. I think as humans we enjoy new ways of offing people xD

No really, people get upset on how others are killed. So they think up ways to be humane and not to get their hands dirty.

Here is something for r3v to try out: google search "humane ways" it made me laugh how far we as humans have pussed out. PETA makes videos to suck in the masses at how our meat is processed. They pay people to do that shit. Who the fuck beats the calf to death? They release adrenaline, that ruins the meat.

Fuck PETA and their twisted ways.

Also 1+ on it costing that much to lethal inject them. Honest hard working people have to waste taxes on removing a scumbag. Or pay to house and feed them because they don't want to respect others.

most inhumane way to die....in a citreon! that is it, we can import a citreon (can not cost more than a coffin) and crush the inmate in the car. Instant (kind of)death and coffin all built into one package. think about it, if you knew your were going to die in a Citreon if you were caught would you think twice about your crime?
