not really. it can be really frustrating to give advice on this topic to this type of person. an acquaintance of mine (my former best friend) has this issue. he just cannot talk to women. it would frustrate me, because i just dont get why not. rejection is part of the game. the more you do it, the more chances you have to score.

after 3 years of putting up with his inability to deal with women, my best advice is to shut up. it may hurt you inside to see him go that long without getting laid, but the truth is there is nothing you can do.
