Top Gear - US version coming (again)

They say immitation is the sincerest form of flattery. That's all this new show is: immitation. Nothing will one-up the original Top Gear.

I don't know who was put in charge of selecting cast members for this American version, but some real car guys....even car journalists....would've been more appropriate and would probably help the show have some cred. People like Jean Jennings from Automobile Magazine - she's got sarcasm & edge but she definately knows cars. Or Angus MacKenzie from MotorTrend. Throw in a real car guy like Jay Leno (or other notable collector) and you have yourself an interesting show.
