moot point. Furthermore, it's not the service I desired/expected, but the one
I was informed I would have access to within 6 months, which is what made
my decision on whom to purchase a service from. They lied.
Two, you don't know me, that was not harassment. I was asking questions,
that if I'm paying $60/mo I expect answered, I was asking via the Tech
Support link on their site, not my fault if they routed it otherwise.
C, Just because your e30 does not have an internet connection, there is no
bearing on my asking questions in an Off-Topic subforum.
My asking for customer support in no way means I don't know what I'm doing.
It means I'm a customer, expecting to be serviced.
I'm sure your age is a valued tool for you, that's great you think you are old.
And finally, why would you waste your time making that ranty post, if you know so much,
and could have answered my question with one sentence?
Trool points awarded to you lovingly,
Take care

I know it really doesn't have anything to do with the size of their campus, not noting that the thing is huge... They are just a big company if they have their own ISP. They are just a big company! I have been there a few times and I was amazed every time I was there. Cool place.sigpice30 Sold long ago - Too many BMWs since then... For now 2006 M5

I read your post after listening to my youngest explain to me how we need a faster connection, when I asked him to pay for it, he said it's not his house... Needless to say, that and the fact that I get to work with twenty some year old network guys who order services and then tell me it's not working right, only to find out they have a static or a vlan setup wrong, made me go off. Good luck with the connection. The Cisco dual wan is the best idea, and yes it will share depending on who your isp is and how the connection is setup. I need to just hangout in the pictures thread... KONKY FOR PRESIDENT.... he's my idol...
Take care
No problem. I can imagine how irritating that could be, but, I'm a grown adult, and they people that want the boost WILL be paying for it.
Also, I understand where you are coming from about the 20something guys. I come from the Auto Field and have had years of dealing with inept techs trying to work on cars. UTI did a number on the auto industry, a bunch of half asses trying to play dress up. I'm sure community colleges have done the same to your industry.
And thanks for your backing on the Cisco, I just may be going that route, but a Linux system sounds like a fun project too.
