Meh, the used car place I worked at was even more shady. The owner put new wheels on an M6 without making sure the hub bore was the same size, so naturally the steering wheel shimmied at speed. He gave me some cheap plastic hubcentric rings that wouldn't even fit over the hub and told me to cut them so I could expand them and make them fit...and then fill in the gap with JB Weld...

What was the price?
And what kind of subaru + price did said friend buy?
The first thing I look for when buying a car is various faults so I can hammer the price down. Tires, dents, dead electronics, rust, etc. If I don't want to buy a pampered beautiful car because of the high price, I always know there will be lots of work to do and money to spend on the lower priced car.Comment

Buyer Beware. Your fault, you sound like a dumb, entitled kid. You should have had a PPI, like any smart person investing in a used car would do.Comment

how about you know nothing about me and my intelligence and you can go fuck yourself. im 22 which is hardly a kid anymore. ive already admitted earlier in the thread that it was an impulse buy and other than the tires i am happy with my purchase. i know my shit for the most part and if there is something that i dont know or need help with i do my research before asking for help.
as for the tire issue...the only way you would be able to tell is if you basically crawled up the cars ass and looked. yes i checked everything and me feeling like i had done most of my homework on these cars i felt that it was ok to buy.
but its all taken care of and i can enjoy my e30...dont worry your pretty little head about it

Yep, I figured you for 22. If you didn't check the tire wear before you bought it, you ARE an idiot. YOU do know "tire-kicking" includes looking at the tires? Bottom line, you made a bad, impulse decision, and now you are paying for it.Comment

Wow - as this plays out - the dealer isn't in the wrong here. The OP is. Well suck me sideways, didn't see that coming. Good job OP for slamming the dealer for YOUR fuck-up.
Do you care to share some other stories about how something *wasn't* your fault that happened to you. Please - let's her it. I bet you have TONS of them.
