Why did you post this here? I can understand if you bought from a member. I did not read your "rant". It is all on you, next time check out the car. YOU paid for it, what do you expect from a 20 year old car.

As a car salesmen, I notice a lot of things the average consumer does not notice; after a sale is complete a lot of times I put it in a statement that'll make sure the little things get fixed. Not because I have to but because I felt like helping someone out. Any corner lot is not going to have the same set a standard a big dealership is going to have like we do. If you buy a car without even popping the hood or looking at tires then you have a giant bullseye on you that I would even take advantage of. I can't tell you how many shady customers I come across who lie and fucking say anything to get what they feel is a fair deal only to shop across the street to save $5 bucks and then bad mouth me. Road goes both ways, if you got hosed then too fucking bad you bought a 20 year old used car from a corner lot that buys from a wholesale auction. I'm willing to bet even after to you used some great "negotiating" techniques you got off line, the salesmen still made a huge profit, and you probably tried financing through them too.
Next time buy private party and get a PPI. Corner lots are for suckers.1985 BMW 325e
