I understand that this is the internet, but we actually already have laws for this. It really comes down to whether the internet is truly anonymous, or if individuals should be held accountable for their actions. Are we not after all creating a fairly permanent record with each post here on r3v? Is it not even more available than a newspaper or magazine? Its called libel.

Yeah but with libel you have to prove there was harm done,(like lost a job, or over the long term severally harassed thats not 4 posts on youtube either, or a reputation ruined that causes you to lose business, and you can prove that those comments were made solely for that reason and that the loss came directly from said comments.

Being butt hurt cuz some one thinks your ugly, does not count as harm, and Libel is extramly hard case to prove and win..
