Love to see anyone not impressed by this video try and do it.
You might have driven this track a million times in a video game, but it sure as shit doesn't prepare you for the first time in real life.

+1. I was scared shitless when I went to the ring, at first. I was in an E30, so it's not like I was passing anyone; just trying to keep the rubber side down, and not get run over by an E39 M5 going sideways.Slicktop City!

im with yoshi, pay to get me there, and i would do similiar i believe. its really not that hard to step the rear out in a 400 lb ft car, especially one that handles well and has a quick steering rack. i know plenty of 240 guys personally that could do better on dry pavement. cool vid none the less. :up:sigpic

Just because i dont advertise it doesn't mean I can't. I'm quite positive with a lap or two around the ring just to get used to it, I could slide around every one of those corners. Defintily not that hard when the track is wider than a typical street, and theres nothing to dodge but the wall.sigpic

Really most of you are missing the point here, which is that it seems this is his personal car. Sure, build a shitbox up to drift, go at it. But it's a different story when it's a nice, stock $80k M5--if he eats it in that thing, it's not just a cool battle scar. You'd think twice about kicking it sideways at 100mph. But while we're on the subject, he's pretty good at it too.Last edited by Wh33lhop; 08-29-2010, 04:27 PM.paint sucks
