I liked the google checkout (as long as they don't keep crashing like they did during our transaction haha). Think I may switch after hearing so many horror stories pending their fees, have had several thousand go through the PP account and the last thing I need is to have monies tied up on a big transaction :(

Only time I ever had a PP claims open was when I bought a motor from a guy in NY and he hadn't given me a bill of lading after 85 days, so I opened a claim and it was resolved in no time (by the seller, never went full on with PP).

New scam, figured I'd post it here. I blacked out the name because I'm assuming it's a virus that sent the email from his account. Funny enough, he's a member on here, if you're reading this I bought an exhaust manifold from you.

It's me, ---------- . I really don't mean to inconvenience you with my email but am sorry, I made a little trip to UK, and I misplaced my luggage that contains my passport, cell phone, ticket and credit cards. I know this may sound odd, but it all happened very fast. I've been to the US embassy, they already made a new passport in my name, but I'm out of cash to pay for my ticket. Please, can you lend me some funds right now? I'll be willing to pay you as soon as I get home.

Please reply as soon as you get this message, so I can forward the details as to where to send the funds, you can try reaching me on this number for now, +447024035615 or 011447024035615, I also have an ID to pick the funds up if sent via western union through walmart. i will be waiting for your responses.

I got the same thing and called otis right away. Hes on vacation in arizona. I tried to change his gmail password for him but we cant get into his account as someone appears to have changed the password.

Hotmail accounts are being hacked left and right, Three friends of mone have had their accounts hacked and now I just get spam mail from them.

Paypal/Ebay need to strength their encryption methods.

On another note I got Malware from a Hotmail account that got hacked and came to me from a friend. In turn I sent it too everyone on my list.....

But I killed off the bug. If you kill off Paypal no biggie Blunt.

Yup my gmail got hacked into and sent that out to everyone. Fucked up part is that it wiped out all of my old messages and address book. mother fuckers...!!
