Do you like the OEM look?

Seems like so many do their car over with non original paint, rims, lights, tint, etc. Who here likes a car that retains its original look?

All an E30 needs is a drop and nice wheels. No tint.

      This.

Body kits look gay on any car, cant go with a ulgy rim, need a drop to fill wheel gap. Some Window tint is ok depending on the cars color. spoiler ,stock IS or mtech1 only. But again this is how everyone e30 looks lol

Unless you live in the desert and then light tint is acceptable.

I'm always one for making things look like they belong there. If you cant make it look like it belongs, OEM or not, then you really shouldnt slap it on your car.

so i'm more of one for OEM looks by that reasoning because OEM does belong there.

tint is handy at night when some asshole in a ford expedition with HIDs is behind you.

Meh, we have months of 98+ degree weather here as well.

Sun shades + cracking the window.

I just really hate how tint looks on an E30.

for every bit as bad as you dislike tint, I think it totally improves the look of all cars, houses, offices, etc. Shitty tint (like my faded poorly cut crap) looks like ass, but top notch tint is awesome.

Clear windows suck and are stupid.

I like tint on new cars. I'm getting ready to do 5% all the way around on my minivan.

I think I am gonna do 50% this time on the E30. My 35 is too dark for my taste on a black car.

I hate the aftermarket or non-year matching front bumpers on E30's. The valences are always too low compared to the rest of the car and it looks awkwardly balanced.

haha +1, but there is a point where its too dark at night... I have 15% all the way around on all my cars, and I hate how I cant see @ night... But It also helps with the heat, especially on a road trip, I hate having the sun kill me on my way to cali or whatever...

Bad idea. Especially if the Wife will be driving this minivan. You CANNOT SEE with 15% at night... 5% will be a literal nightmare. With 5% tint I see your insurance rates going up...

Having had dark tint on most my cars, I think on my next car I will go with something like 50% all the way.

Oh, and I HATE dark tint in the rear and lighter in the front. Consistent tint really makes the car look classy.

I don't really drive a minivan, I just call it that. The car is black, so it needs DARK tint IMHO.

                              The wife won't drive a 6 spd.
