Finally going to buy a flashlight, or two. What are you guys using or recommend?

I just received is wrong , it was defective from the first power. The indicator light flashes, then disappears slowly fading, change of state or dies completely. At first I thought it was a bad contact or loose issues correspond to the battery, but now it is not sitting still in office intact, so I guess bad circuit in the pill itself.

how the fk do you guys spend/justify spending that much on a flashlight. I bet a majority of you don't even have an 'I' or an 'IS' lip!!!!!

my Surefire E2L Outdoorsman was $160 or so. Neither of my E30s had lips. :D

Surefire G2 is IMHO the best 'budget' light on the market, they are tough as hell and can be had for $30. But for a nice basic light I really like thier CK (Classic Knurled) line. I have probably a half dozen G6's floating around.

I kinda went against my previous postings after I noticed how well a good flashlight works. I was at a customer and they had a nice LED. SO I grabbed one today. 180 dollars.

Work at some dark fields...streamlight is issued.

Can't beat a SF G2 . Add a drop in and rechargeable batteries.

And you really can't beat a thrunite catapult v2 got one coming to me by the end of the month.1000 lumens.

You can't beat an HID flashlight at 3200 lumens. There is a point where its too bright.

The Thrunite is a wonderful light. Great size. Awful good throw.
