Finally going to buy a flashlight, or two. What are you guys using or recommend?

25 is NO WHERE NEAR ENOUGH FOR A GOOD light.

I have a Shurefire 6P LED in my truck, Her Tahoe, My tool bag, My tool box, my backpack, and My Company Work truck. Plus have given many away as gifts

They can be found of ebay for 50-60 and retail at about 90.

You cant beat them. 85 lumen for 11 hours, all for about the size of a mini mag with the out put of a 3 dcell mag light.

Buy a surefire! I have had about 3 now and they last. I have ran mine into the wall, dropped it, ran over it and a few other things. It also looks really good on an AR ;)

I actually had one of those and it was a really nice light. I think someone snagged it up from me or I lost it though. Paid around $26 I think.

I had a single AA Inova X1 for a long time until I lost it / someone stole it from me. I loved that light. real glass lens, with a SS ring to save it from the 293847239487 times I dropped it.

Maluco: my little bro has been making emergency use flash lights outta. Small ammo cans old mag ligt houseing motorcycle batts and hids outta infinity's for quite a while. They are corded and have a recharge plug so you can keep it In the trunk and charged. Only lasts about 20ish mins and gets hoter than hell, but fuck is it bright

check pilot stores (sporty's, etc.) typically they have a good selection of bright, inexpensive flashlights that are small enough to use in the cockpit conveniently but bright enough to see into some pretty dark places. Then look them up on amazon or google to avoid the "it's aviation related, so charge 50% more" surcharge.

Good Call on going with the maglights.

I've been using maglights to wander through pitch black abandoned buildings in detroit for years and have never been let down.

I've had my 3D maglight for about 10 years now
Kept my 2D in my car for about 3 years now and i have assorted minimags all over.

I would HIGHLY recommend the LED upgrade because it will improve your battery life drastically but, i dont recommend the led upgrade for the mini mag. You will lose the ability to focus the beam and I also found it to decrease the light output a bit too.

I had a spare DDM hid kit laying around. I only have a couple build pictures but the finished product is a portable HID highbeam.
