My day yesterday... Just sharing.:D

Rain sucked big time but it didnt stop the fun! Ryan Shecklers 3rd Annual Golf Classic was yesterday held at the Trump Course in Palos Verde,Ca. Nobody went on the course and golfed due to bad weather so we just turned the entire event into a rager in the club house.

meh when i use to be into skateboarding alot and watched his skate videos he was alright but when got his own show than cried just becuase his parents went through a divorce shows how much of a bitch he really is. Deltron gives him 1 thumb down.

Apparently, he stages a lot of his tricks, such as seen @ the San Jose leg of the dew tour.

You're retarded. I agree that Sheckler doesn't represent the core of skateboarding, but to say he "stages" his tricks makes no sense. The tricks he lands are due to practice, over and over again. While I may not agree with his style and his type of park skating, I defy anyone to accomplish the tricks he does in the time he has learned them. He is a great skateboarder. He cried when he was 12.... growing up while watching your parents divorce is tough for any kid.
Stages tricks..... come on man. Don't you think the skateboarding world would have something to say about that?

He was probably preparing for the contests, you have to understand, these are his payday and his passion. If he doesn't do well, he gets dropped from the tour, is in danger of losing commercial sponsorship, and could fade away quickly without this kind of media attention. He isn't a Heath Kirchart, a Marc Gonzales, or an Eric Kosten to skateboarding. With out these contests he isn't relevant to core skateboarding.
