It's been a while since I read them, but there's not a lot to his character. He's pretty much just a cowardly preacher. He locked himself in the church and let the people outside starve/die/get eaten by zombies - hence the scratches and writing on the siding.

Show tries to appeal to all groups of people to be politically correct. But study showed in real life epidemic people tend to group with their own race.

Yeah, that was the same car that took Beth, Daryl even said that in the show.

I think they needed to split Daryl and Carol off to make this "hunters" theme work well . The two of them are the best trackers of the group, and the show would be stupid if they were all together and never went off looking for the "hunters". The group with them in it would be too strong for the story line to work.

I also think Bob was bit when he was pulled under water by the walker. Does hat mean his "meat" is tainted and they all get sick?

Most satisfying season premiere in a long time for this show.

On to recent events.

The car that Carol and Daryl saw, with the cross. My first reaction was it was headed to the church... but that was the same car that stole Beth I believe, right? If it was the car that stole Beth, I think Carol and Daryl may be on their way to the place where she is, and they won't be part of the group for awhile. I assume the next few episodes will be split, and we may slowly learn what Beth has had to deal with. If you remember from the season preview... I think Beth is in a place as scary or more scary than terminus.

If that car isn't headed to the church (I don't think it is) then clearly the cannibals are going to be the main group's problem. Thus why it appears that 3 went missing, but really it could just be Bob was the first to be picked off as Carol and Daryl are on their way after the car.

So it's also pretty clear that Bob was bit/scratched but we didn't see it right? Thus why he gave his final kiss goodbye and slipped away only to be caught. Normally we see when people hide their injury we actually see it later, but I guess him walking away was all that we needed as viewers to know. We saw that Gareth took a non-fatal shot, and we knew they would be back for revenge. It looks like they are decent at sneaking around, hopefully the group doesn't lose anyone else from them.

I do hope Morgan comes to the rescue in some way and becomes a long term character, it's easy to see why he's a fan favorite. He's clearly over his isolation and losses, and his survival instincts must be strong again. Also, cool mask bro.

I thought last weeks show was really good, I knew those cannibalistic mofo's would be back. They should have listened to Rick and went back and finished them off. They could have stayed in the tree lines and had a turkey shoot while they were fooling with the herd. But you got to have some nasty's to hate on I guess.
