I've seen about 10 twin yolk eggs in my very scarce cooking career. The egg is usually bigger than the others and sometimes has a pear shape.
I think you don't see them much cuz they're not supposed to get through quality control.

Just to be clear I wasn't freaked out or anything, but when I saw the two yolks fall out of the shell the first thing I thought of was r3v. I decided it was time for me to open my first completely worthless thread in the OT section, I just didn't want to write "I found two yolks in an egg" only.
I know twin chickens won't do the exact same things, but I thought it was funny:)

This was 3 eggs I was attempting to fry a few months ago. The entire flat of eggs was like this. I didn't get them from a grocery store but a small chicken ranch. I was grossed out and then fed the entire thing to my dog.

I've seen a triple yolker before, but only once in my exsistence. I was 8 or so years old and I ate them, without a second thought. My grandma seemed to get a lot of doubles from the local grocery store.Comment
