Tongue Piercing

I am SERIOUSLY considering getting my tongue pierced...

Advice, experiences, opinions and the like welcomed. I have TWO friends with tongue piercings, the one has had it for 7 years and LOVES it. The other had to take it out after 3 weeks 'cause of infection.

I hear that there are ways to disguise them so they are virtually undetectable in a situation where you wouldn't want to flaunt it. IE weddings, bat/bar mitzvahs, funerals, interviews etc lol

So, I need a bit more info to make a sound decision.

my girlfreind got her tongue pierced not too long after i started going out with her.

she liked it, i liked it, enough said.

anyhow, yes it can be hidden when you dont want it seen. its as simple and switching to a short bar with a clear ball.

she had no problems with it except for she had to have it out for surgery and since they close real fast she doesnt have it anymore.

all in all i give it a :up:

i had mine when i was at school...got peer pressured into having it done by 3 girls....it was persuasive.....

i didnt have any complications, however a friend of mine had...so can go either way. its easy to get a short bar one with clear balls, but its harder to disguise the slight lisp! i had a stutter anyway so that didnt help....if you wanna do it go for it as it closes up so quick and doesnt leave any really noticeable scarring, unlike heaps of other piercings

I got mine done at a local recommended tatoo parlor. I've had it for about 8 months now and I love it. Every so often (once a week or so) I say a sentence or string of words funny, not so much like a lisp, but something only I can notice. It takes about 5 days to heal until you can eat real food again.
I would recommend changing the bar out to a shorter one as soon as the swelling goes down (should be within 2-2.5 weeks) so as not to chomp the ball with your teeth.
It's hardly noticeable with the black steel ball I have on there now, so much that none of my close friends or parents noticed until I told them it was there.
I'd also suggest getting an acrylic ball for the bottom, as the bottom ball hits your teeth more often than the top and it will save the enamel on them

It changes how you think about a girl. It's a true consideration. She has a device to aid her in dick sucking.

Personally, I think they are disgusting. I detest all piercings and tatoos. Every once in a while, I fantasize about nipple piercings, or a pierced hood, but I have been there and played with that. Improvement of sexual response? Hardly, and certainly not from me.

My "Ex" got hers done while we were still together. Never put my tongue or dick in her mouth ever again. Believe me, she needed no help in the whole "dick sucking" thing. Proverbial "suck start a Harley" kind of girl.

Kristen, what does your Man think of piercings? If the woman in my life really wanted me to pierce or tattoo, felt it to be some kind of important thing, like she might not be able to deal with no extra holes in me, she would be gone.
