Back on the subject of the piercing. If i DON'T like it, they grow right back once you take them out, yes?

And just because someone has a pierced tongue, does not mean they did it for sexual reasons. That never even crosses my mind when I see someone with a pierced tongue.

I have one ear pierced in the cartilage. I like the way it looks...its not sexual. I have heard that tongue piercings don't really make a big difference in oral stimulation. Is this wrong??

My gf has one. Can't say its that much of a differance when it counts. Nipple rings get boring too.

My friend had one too, hers got infected pretty fast. My friend (guy) has one, chicks dig it he says and his didn't get infected, my other friend grant had one and just took it out one day not sure why.

My gf had one. I can't say it really did that much in the way on stimulation, but that's not to say it detracted either. Also when I see girls with it I don't really see it as a sexual thing at all, I think people just do it to get attention.

I think you should go for it Kristin. You got it right when you said if you don't like it, you can take it out, and it will heal back up 100%. You will only be out a little money.

As for the actually piercing, I am sure you will be smart enough to find a reputable shop that Autoclaves their needles, etc. Leave the barbell that they pierce you with in as long as they tell you to. Don't use anything acrylic until it's fully healed. Even then, stick with steel unless its really bothering you. Human bodies try much harder to reject arcyrlic than surgical grade steel. Piercings also heal a lot faster with steel.

The main thing that's nice about piercing is that they are temporary. I want a tattoo, but I hope I never get one because I have a hard time believing I could come up with anything that I would still like even 5 years down the road.

Wow, I completely agree with you and kencoppertwat. The tongue thing seems to be such a high school kid wanna be badass rebel defy my parents cause I hate them even though they put a roof over my head and food on the table kinda thing.

I also agree with some of the others in that a tongue pierce makes no different when a girl gives a wah wah. They are either good, or they are either bad. I don't think a piercing does shit.
