That being said. It's not like Top Gear America is a terrible show. By all unbiased standards I think it's ok. The bearded dude can stay, he's cool. Tanner should have been the Stig since day one since everyone wants him to just keep his mouth shut and drive. The main guy should also seriously reconsider his position as "Jeremy Clarkson".
The problem with this show is that we all know how awesome it can be with Top Gear UK. Had that never been in our minds, I think we'd say "yea it's ok" more than anything.
I'm indifferent.

Episode 4 was yet another copycat of a UK episode. They really need more of their own challenges and reviews. The Lambo review was done by TGUK last year (S14E03), car vs chopper (S04E01), truck vs skydiver (S08E04) etc.
The car reviews themselves are absolute trash. The SLS review was little more than his opinions on the looks, and that it rides too hard. I know nothing of the cars performance, price, weight, etc. They need to be overhauled. A few common car reviews would be nice as well, such as camry vs malibu vs fusion vs accord.
I actually enjoyed the challenges they did running moonshine and blind drifting. If they would stop copying the challenges the actual creativity could show through.Comment

FYI the mustang that went around as fast as the M3 was the track package. Effectively the CSL of the Mustang's. Not exactly the main market car, all of those are still being held back by the LRA (which can do fine on a skidpad but struggles greatly on a course with seams and undulations).Im now E30less.

I am curious of what people that have never seen Top Gear UK think of Top Gear USA. I think we can easily say when comparing to the UK version it is a lazy, less funny, copy of the UK version, but what does Joe Nascar think? ohh wait, I dont care what Joe Nascar thinks. NevermindBrian JacobsComment

Top Gear uk is my favorite show of all time.
Top Gear America is probably the worst. I hate how they even try to copy the personality Clarkson, or the others.
Pitiful. I am pissed that Top Gear uk allowed this nonsense.Comment
