P47 Thunderbolt--eight .50 cal guns. Top speed lowered by 100mph when it was firing.

A guy in my area has a P-51, on occasion I will hear something out of the ordinary. I'll go outside to see what it is...that V-12 makes a 'rumbling-humming sound...very cool. I heard an Osprey about a month ago...surprisingly loud.

I've always had a chubby for the F/A 18. I've wanted to fly one since I was a kid, but life took me on another path.

Then again flying an ME-109 would be pretty pimp

Good scene from "Empire of the Sun" has some Mustangs laying it down on a Japanese airfield: (with an internment camp nearby with British civilans)

I would fly this. Forget trying to park those other ones :P This would be like parking the e30, and if someone was in your spot...well, they wouldn't be for long! Harrier FTW!
