i work at a shop, and eventually all those bells and whistles get a bit boring. this is a track bike. one gear no brakes and it takes a bit to stop. hah! If anyone needs any parts be it mountain, road, bmx, or track, i can get it for a deep discount.

I'm in the market for a new mountain bike. Whats shop in chicago do you work for?
I work at Cycle Smithy in Lincoln Park on Clark St. just about two blocks north of Fullerton, were doing a sale here for 20% off all bikes including 2005 models!

No specialized?
I will be in the city on Saturday for the taste, so I will probably stop by.
What would be a comprable model to the specialized rockhopper, if you can recommend me one?
No brakes, you say?...... what about no freewheel!? That's what they call direct drive! I can't believe you would actually ride that in Chicago (or anywhere else for that matter).
You've got to be :loco:
not at all! actually a good 60% of chicago's courier service rides these, and all one has to do is be careful. haven't been hit yet, and i've had it since february!
