Typically not a fan of the "hdr" pics but that one is nice.

I think those wedding pics are great, definitely look like they were taken by a friend. They aren't the standard pics you always see, I like that some are candid and some look private. Good job!

You took the words right out of my mouth.

87 those look great and IMO you did very well. I really like he "non clinical look" you have captured, opposed to most wedding photos I have seen seem to have

Buddy of mine got married a year or so ago and his wife, had one of her friends father that makes his living as a wedding photog supposedly did a horrid job especially with the supper high fee he charged them. I could have done better with a 10 year old cool pix, and I am very bad at taking pics of people.

^ Thanks guys! I was reluctant to take the job at first because of such little experience and other friend wedding horror stories, but once I found out her backup option was an iPhone the pressure came off a little bit. :)

It's a lot more work than I really understood and this was such a small wedding, much respect for the those pros that excel at huge weddings. It is fun to shoot though.

Took these today on a hike to ramona falls near Portland. My 2nd time using my DSLR and I'm honestly pretty pleased with the outcome. These are straight out of the camera - only reduced in size.

Still no tripod - but I have a long list of items to get on amazon. Just have to cough up the cash.

EDIT: Just bought a tripod, circular polarizer and camera backpack.

This one killed it.... Great shot, a little PS'ing and it would be a perfect background.

Not a big fan of most of the HDRs i see myself, they are usually way overdone..

A little manual HDR to go along with the theme. Nothing fancy, but it's a simple shot for a friends website.
