I'm not sure the camera is what is tilted. I'd say just crop the stick and leave it. That looks like bedrock that has been lifted and is all natural.

By the way, nice pic.

Thanks guys and yeah the cam is dead level that's just the way the rock in the gorge is.

Yup if you look really closely above the more pronounced rainbow you can see a faint second one. By the time we saw it and got off trail though the trees to the cliff above the river bank it had faded quite a bit, as the rain had slowed up some.....

1st chance I have had to try and catch a Aurora, Had the ISO up just a tad too far I think. But not too bad for a 1st try. Oly gear as well OMD and 17mm F1.8 at F2.8 4ish seconds and ISO 3200

Nice shot. I wish we could see the Aurora this far south. I'm told its not an easy subject to shoot most of the time.

beautiful, man. i can't wait to go that far north someday.. or south hahah

i assume you used a tripod? cause you could just step down that ISO and up the exposure and it'd clean up the background so much. i know you know this though.

Yeah I was kinda flipping out, and didnt want to miss anything at the time and the all looked really good on the LCD on the cam. I should have just run in and looked at the 1st few so I could make those adjustments. Oh well live and learn will know for next time.

Some highlights form the last few days, God I love home in the summer time








And a couple more from the awesome light show last night, just cropped some of the extra ground out and sharpened them up a little bit to try and get the noise effect to not be as prevalent.

You know what, you need to quit showing off Some of us are stuck far too far south to to have any chance of seeing the Aurora, on top of that, we are stuck with way too much light pollution. You have no idea how much I sometimes wish I lived in the middle of nowhere a lot further north than here. I really do miss a super dark night where you can actually see the night sky.

anyone adapt old slr lenses to their dslr? It's pretty neat. Didn't try composing this shot or anything, it was experimental. Any editing was just light correction.
