You can run a 40+ year old Nikon lens on any of the newer higher end Nikon bodies (D7000 and up) Anything that works on a F4 will work. Light metering might be off however. If you use a crop frame (DX) sensor with a 35mm lens it will be 1.5 times larger than the listed size, so a 100mm lens is a 150mm.

Took this with that old F series recently on a trip to Delaware - mennonites?
Also this pontiac:
1988 Atlantisblau Euro/Japanese 325i Cabriolet
1989 Schwartz 325i - now M50 powered! - now very dead
1998 Toyota 4Runner Limited My 17,000km Big NA National Parks trip!
I went to England just my dad and I during Christmas of 2012 and New Years of 2013. And as a tradition we always go down to Cornwall where he used to live right on the beach in a small town called St. Ives, and we always get the same room at a pretty nice hotel literally on the water. But while milling around the shops there, a guy in a 1950's Jag had run out of gas and was waiting for his wife to come from the next town over to bring him fuel. I wish I had gotten a better picture this is the only one I have.
It was all original except for a custom aluminum radiator and electric fans, both pusher and puller.
But it got even better when his wife came and brought him gas. She showed up in this.
Once again. all original except for the radiator and electric fans..
I was astonished by the condition of both cars, and ended up talking to both of them for about an hour on the side of the road haha.
But here is a panoramic from the hotel room.
And while in London the night before our departure, my dad gave me my "first" beer and made me take a picture of it.
Carlsberg is alright, but according to him I was natural at drinking beer, and seemed to have been born with an acquired taste for it.
Sorry for a story of my travels etc. but taking Adderall right now to study for mid terms and kinda went off in a rant.

Yes this is great info. Can get some real interesting effects with the older lenses. Of course it will be all in manual and you have to shoot in wide open aperture. Things look good and I do love some solid depth.
Been home for a few days. Its that time of year when the weather really never cooperates for much of anything but here are a couple.
I know its the same vantage point I give you guys a lot, and its not that dramatic. But notice the ice cover. Yeah lakes get covered in Ice in the winter time especially in MT. Well this is a very rare occurrence weather has to be just right for Lake McDonald to freeze over not just very cold due to its large size and great depth....
Just from one of my pointless wanderings while out and about the last few days
