Not a bad gig. If you do the data plan stuff, I think T-mobile has one of the less expensive plans out of the competitors.
Same, but we just have 2 lines. I have a G2, and my wife has a G1. We've been with them since they were VoiceStream, which I think had to be almost 10 years ago, if not more. Never had any problems. Great service, great coverage.

I've had AT&T Wireless/Cingular/AT&T as long as I can remember and has served me fine. Plus, even on the most basic 3G phone you can text, use data, and talk at the same time.

All I know is I will NEVER use a non-GSM phone. I've had a camping trip go bad, batteries die on crazy days, or phones just plain stop working and would hate to have to go into a store to change over my phone's registration if I had a spare lying around. Or trapped in another state - give me a burner phone and problem solved. Plus, world traveling and swapping to local sim is much too awesome with GSM phones.

I used T Mobile UK for 3 months and thought they were good and very convenient. If I ever switched, it would be to T Mobile.

I read up a bit on the G2. Its awesome! Haha I watched like a 30 minute comparison on youtube, and the G2, with a slower processor, kicked the shit out of a Droid 2. Weird. I say these two, because I like hard keyboards.

If I do get a G2 though, I will definitely change the android vanilla on it.

Verizon has amazing coverage but is really expensive. After 2 years of $250+ a month for 2 smartphones I'm done. Looking like tmo or sprint will be getting my business.

Sprint is very cost effective. Just not best map coverage, little spotty from things i have heard. So as far as upgrades go you can actually upgrade before your contract is up, main line as early as one year before add a lines usually around 6 months before. If you want i can do a bill review just pm me your number and billing zip code and i can see when your contract is completely up, or if there is any ways to save you money!!

I use Sprint. I get unlimited data, text, all that BS, 3 lines with 1500 shared free mobile to mobile (we have never in 4 years even come close to hitting the ceiling) and our bill with all the fees, taxes and other BS is about $120

Sprint, my speeds according to SpeedTest are on par with ATT 3g and it's way cheaper.

Now that my wife is on my plan at work (we get a 22% discount) we went from spending nearly $250 a month on two iPhones, to spending $130 for two HTC EVO 4Gs. And of course, if we hadn't gotten a 4G phone, it would be another $20 a month cheaper.

Even without the discount, 450 daytime minutes (phones to other cell phones regardless of carrier don't count against your minutes), unlimited nights and weekends, unlimited texts and data is only $69.99 a month.

                  You can't really beat that.

I'm going with t-mobile at the end of this month, I've been with Atnt for about 10 years now got kicked off my family plan. I've been using their unlimited talk and text prepaid plan for 60 a month with my unlocked iphone.

But the thing is they have outrageous data plans on the prepaid service 20 bucks for only 100 megs.

T-mobile offers the same prepaid plan including unlimited data for 80 a month.

I like not having a contract but not having internet on the iphone is like a tv with no cable.

                      word. CDMA blows.

People are soon going to realize how slow Verizon's network is after the iPhones are released. Pre-orders broke the sales record in two hours this morning.

Even ATT's 3G bandwidth is higher than Verizon's LTE.

Slow day in hell when I pay AT&T another dime.

Verizon, may be a tad slower in data, but it works all the time, EVERY time

I guess "blow" was a harsh term haha. I meant GSM>CDMA. I like the SIM and being able to talk & text/web at the same time. I do it more often than I thought. Apparently this is being "fixed" on CDMA right now.

AT&T isn't the best provider, but I'd pick them over T-Mobile.

I'm curious to see what the massive influx of iPhones does to Verizon's network.

4G/LTE/whateverthehelltheycallitnow will solve that dual connection issue. Although you can still call and text at the same time.

whenever I travel out of the country I just use a crappy unlocked GSM phone i have lying around.. seems to work

Yea but what about the iPhones battery life on cdma?

Anyone with an iphone can attest that the battery life sucks already.

Anyone with Verizon (any cdma carrier for that matter) can attest that their battery life sucks too.
