    Summer tires for the lose...

...not sure if some of you noticed, we got a bit of snow in the middle of the country. In Tulsa, we actually broke the previous 24hr record, by getting 14"+ of snow starting early Tuesday morning through early afternoon.

Here is what my car looked like on Wednesday.

And here is yesterday after digging out the driveway, so we could get my car out of the way since my wife had to go to work today.

In fact, I was going to go this morning, until my car got stuck in front of my house, just trying to get it into the street (on thursday).

Thankfully about 30 minutes later, some rednecks were just out driving around in their truck looking for people to help. Three guys pushing + turbocharged FWD fury finally got it to the curb.

It's being prepared for now. I've got a seperate checking account with money going in every paycheck just for an E30.

I suspect this time next year, it will be built.

Nope, since we are a defense company, only a few people have laptops because of the need for a secure connection between site/off-site.
I was only trying to get into the street, not even go to work and the bitch got stuck!
I haven't been to work all week. I'm hoping I can go in on Monday to make up for missing today. If I even just had all-seasons it wouldn't be a problem.

I am surprised that even with the LSD it had that much trouble.

lol. more like bad judgment for the lose. summer tires do not hold ANY traction in snow.

Thank you for your astute observation, are you a member of MENSA?

Bad judgement? This is why I love forums, because people respond without having read. My wife HAD to go to work today, so that meant my car HAD to be moved to the street. her car was in the garage, is that an easier picture to grasp?

Not like I was getting it out of the driveway to go get some donut holes.

We got a bit of snow and ice in Austin, doesn't feel safe to drive anywhere, thank goodness I'm getting paid for the day off without using personal time. My dog sure is loving this weather!
