Ever seen a family photo from 100 years ago? They look fucking miserable lol. I have one of my family shortly after going through Ellis Island ~1910.


Divorce is seen as acceptable now. We're much less of a religious society now.. or not as strict followers.

You also need to spend some time COMPLETELY single. And really learn what you are and aren't looking for/willing to put up with/etc in a relationship/woman.

These guys that get girls preggers/married/living together before the age of 25 blow my mind.

Even by 25, you'll still really only be beginning to figure out what you really want out of life.

I did that as soon as I got out of my long relationship, plenty of one night stands. Thought it was awesome at first, then realized thats not what I wanted at all. Now I just spend 24/9 on my cars/boat projects, work, and school. Key to it is keeping busy. Stagnant time is a breeding ground for regrets and wrongdoing.

just a fyi been with the same girl for 11 years (in 18 days matter of fact) I was 19 she was 16 when we met. Been the best thing to happen to me, and we have been living together most of those years as well. Just got lucky I guess

Despite my previous advice, I'm 22, been with the same girl since I was 18. We've both grown up a lot in that time, moved out of our respective parental homes, separately at first, and now we live together. Through all of it, we're still together and I can totally see us getting married when she's out of school. Basically, I agree, running around banging random slutty girls just seems like a way you're trying to fill some void imo.

yea but thats really not what i was getting at. maybe i should have reworded my statement.

What i should have said was you need to experience other women and different relationships. imo experience allows you to learn what you really want in life when it comes to a girlfriend or potential wife.

but yes your right instant gratification leads to issues like herpes in this case.
