Well if your an nerd then the sky is the limit but I'm talking about everyone else. Both platforms, unmodified, have advantages and disadvantages. But the big thing with android is you don't have to void your warranty to do most things and there are a few more enterprise options.
Better is always subjective because each person has different needs. I'm really just stating why "better" isn't really going to decide the more popular platform. Right now all anyone else can hope for is to carve a niche. It's a two horse race (well, more like a 10 horse race with 9 running for android because of 3rd party hardware)
