    Fuc% the USPS!

So I finally decided to pick up a set of LTW E36 M3 Rotors for my car. I found a nice gently used set and purchased them along with a spare spindle from a gentleman on Bimmerforums. My spindle arrived looking as though they kicked it from GA to Nevada but it was usable. Five days go by and the Rotors are MIA. I check with the USPS and they tell me that they will "start an investigation". I tell the USPS that they lost a 13x13x10 box weighing 40lbs no investigation is going to find that if it goes missing. Now I am hosed and the insured value the seller put on it is $40 less than what I paid, not what it will cost to replace them. I know I should be happy that I get something back but fuc$ how do you lose something that big.

Here is what the spindle looked like when it arrived. You know they destroyed the rotors.

Please share your USPS horror stories so my hatred can grow.

I always had good luck with them, but it was the mailman that would toss the packages in the ditch :/

I would love to think that our great country could get package delivery correct but I have lost all faith. I will never ship anything that weighs more than a pound with USPS ever again.

So you hatred can grow? I tried to ship a computer from Detroit to Fort Lauderdale, and when it arrived, the computer had a virus.

Same, never a problem with them. I ship as much as possible with them because of their flat-rate Priority boxes.

I've had a set of hub-centric rings stolen out of the envelope they were sent in. Valuing in at a whopping 5 dollars. I can only guess some getho fuck working at the USPS thought it was jewelry or something. Still pretty irritating.

I realize the value of the flat rate boxes but how hard is it to get something from A-B without it going missing. Also there is no excuse for the box I received. Maybe its the hillbillies at the local sorting station.

They tried to steal my TSX projectors. Website said they were delivered but they weren't. Had to call repeatedly until I got the branch manager who after 2 weeks finally delivered me an open box, why did they have to open it? Minor scratches on lens, had to replace.

I will never ship packages thru them. ever.

If it doesn't fit in a priority box I will not use them. Anything else costs way too much, the rates are rising every day it seems.
