i feel like it's impossible to find a decent e30 6cyl 2door 5 speed for a good deal

I didn't read the whole thread, so this might have already been stated: if I were you and I was dead-set on an e30 and only had $2k, I would either wait and save my funds or wait until I could find a decent example that experienced a broken timing belt. In most cases you an just slap on a used head with all of the appropriate "while you are in there" maintenance items and have yourself a cheap e30.

It is unlikely to happen if you aren't looking hard, so I would just recommend just saving up. You sound like a high school kid, and I know that it seems like you absolutely need a car, but you don't. You will seriously kick yourself if you buy a beater e30 for $2000 and it nickel and dimes you to death.

lol yeah i know what you mean thats why im looking for a good deal... i check here daily and CL daily. i dont know where else to look? but yeah whatever it is im looking for it in good running condition well maintained.... not some hot ride with a garbage heart. i can do with an eye soar that ill have to make pretty. thats sorta what im looking for, but if its a pretty car with a nice engine well maintained then i'll jump on it. but yeah i could be called a "highschool kid" im in the same region of funds even though im going to a junior college. basically working for 8 dollars an hour wherever i can... :/
