Okay so I'm curious if any one works at dmv or aaa.. I got a car from a older guy and he had dementia, Ended up giving me the car. The problem is He had lost the title and any info with his name on it. Im trying to get it registered but its kind of hard because to get the title i need his info... But he didn't even know his own name... Plus AAA wont release any info until i at least have his name. If any one has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

You need to find out his name. Then fill out bill of sale, and file for lost or duplicate title. Pay fees. Good to go. You cant find out his name, raid his mailbox for his SS check. -
