Is brown with white spots or sometimes gray? They're usually really smart and very well trained. I think they're some kind of hunting dog?

My wife dogsat this German Short-haired pointer. It was a rescue.. it lived to be about 19 and it died a couple of months ago. I hated that dog.
I guess if you think long life and feeding prescription meds to your dog to keep it's joints from breaking then yeah they're great.
